Certified Facility Professionals earn $11,411-$17,074 more than non-certified plant managers based on a recent survey. AFE is the Facility Engineering Certification Body offering the following certifications:
CPE: Certified Plant Engineer

CPMM: Certified Plant Maintenance Manager

CPS: Certified Plant Superviser

Maintain your Certification

AFE is one of the best resources in the Chicago area to acquire continuing education units (CEU’s). Five to eight CEU's are required every five years to maintain your certification. Three to five units are earned by continuous employment in the facility-engineering field. AFE Chicago Chapter 1 will help you earn the remaining CEU's through educational events conducted throughout the year.
